YA romance has its own commercial rhythm. It is not adult romance with younger characters, and it is not simply a coming-of-age novel with a love story attached. Agents looking for YA romance are usually watching for immediacy, longing, emotional stakes, and a teenage voice that makes the relationship feel urgent without tipping into adult concerns.
A word on the search. Many agents list YA and romance as separate interests, but not every profile says "YA romance" outright. This page requires both signals. Use the broad search toggle on the main directory to widen the field to YA agents whose broader taste may include romantic plots.
Every listing on PairPi is verified against the agent's own website, with the date we last checked. For YA romance, the first pages need chemistry, but the whole submission needs a reason the story could only happen at this age.
