What PairPi is

PairPi is a directory of literary agents and their submission guidelines. We compile information from publicly available sources, verify it against official agency websites, and present it in a searchable, structured format to help writers find the right agents. Our service is available at pairpi.com.

By using PairPi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One account per person. Don't share your credentials.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure. If you think your account has been compromised, let us know immediately.
• You can browse the agent directory without an account. An account is only needed for features like shortlists, submissions, alerts, and Smart Search.

Free and paid plans

The full agent directory is free to browse with no account required. Free accounts come with limited saves and submission tracking.

Paid plans unlock additional features. The current plans are:

• Plus — £4.99/month
• Pro — £8.99/month
• Query Season Pass — £9.99 for 30 days of Pro-level access

Features included in each plan are described on our pricing page. We may update features and pricing from time to time.

Payments and billing

• All prices are in British pounds (GBP).
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via the Stripe customer portal.
• When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you feel there are exceptional circumstances.
• The Query Season Pass gives 30 days of access from the date of purchase and is non-refundable once activated.

Agent information and accuracy

We work hard to keep agent listings current and accurate. Every listing includes a source link and a “last checked” date showing when we last verified the information against the agent's official website.

However, agent information can change at any time, and we cannot guarantee that every listing is complete or up to date at the moment you view it. Always check the agent's own website before submitting. PairPi is a research tool to help you find and shortlist agents, not a replacement for reading the official guidelines.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from PairPi
• Resell, redistribute, or republish our compiled agent data
• Use the service in a way that is abusive, harmful, or disruptive to other users or to our infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

Intellectual property

The PairPi platform — including its design, code, and the compiled and structured dataset — is our intellectual property. You may not copy or reproduce it.

Individual agent information is sourced from publicly available pages and remains the property of the respective agents and agencies. We display it for informational purposes, with source attribution.

Limitation of liability

PairPi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for missed submission deadlines, incorrect agent information, or any losses arising from your use of PairPi.
• We are not responsible for actions taken by agents or agencies based on your submissions.
• Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of PairPi after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
