Polly Nolan founded PaperCuts Ltd in 2020 after a long editorial career spanning Reed Elsevier, Egmont Children's Books, Orion Children's Books, Oxford University Press, Scholastic, and Macmillan Children's Books. She moved into agenting in 2013 at Greenhouse Literary Agency, where she built the UK side of the business from scratch. PaperCuts operates as both a literary agency and an editorial consultancy, working with English-language authors worldwide; Polly splits her time between London and Galway.
