Kathryn Ross co-founded Fraser Ross Associates in 2002 alongside Lindsey Fraser, following a decade running Scottish Book Trust together. Both agents have backgrounds in teaching and bookselling and have served on judging panels for the Nestlé Smarties, Whitbread, and Fidler prizes. They helped launch the Blue Peter Book Awards and manage the Young Walter Scott Prize for writers aged 11 to 19 with an interest in historical fiction.
