Becky founded the agency in 2008, naming it after her maiden name, and previously worked as a commissioning editor at Macmillan — where she commissioned Bear Grylls' debut, Facing Up — having started her career reading manuscripts for the Lilliput Press while studying at Trinity College Dublin. The agency runs a scholarship for new writers and has a strong children's list including Pamela Butchart (World Book Day author 2018, Zoella Book Club), Mike Lancaster, Sue Wallman, and Sam Gayton. Simultaneous submissions are accepted provided this is disclosed in the covering letter.
