Becky founded the agency in 2008, naming it after her maiden name, and previously worked as a commissioning editor at Macmillan — where she commissioned Bear Grylls' debut, Facing Up — having started her career reading manuscripts for the Lilliput Press while studying at Trinity College Dublin. The agency runs a scholarship for new writers and has a strong children's list including Pamela Butchart (World Book Day author 2018, Zoella Book Club), Mike Lancaster, Sue Wallman, and Sam Gayton.
