Andrew Wylie

Andrew Wylie founded The Wylie Agency in New York in 1980 and opened a London office in 1996, the agency now represents more than 1,300 clients, around 10% of which are literary estates. Known in the industry as 'The Jackal' for his aggressive client-acquisition tactics, Wylie is one of the most powerful agents in publishing and does not accept unsolicited submissions. Notable clients and estates represented include some of the most significant names in 20th-century literary fiction.
