How to submit
Email the first three chapters, a 1-2 page synopsis including the full plot outline and ending, and a covering letter (Word format preferred) to submissions.bryony@bryonywoods.co.uk. The covering letter should describe the book, include a short author biography, and note any previous writing experience.

What we found

Bryony founded the agency in 2012 (originally Diamond Kahn and Woods) and rebranded as Bryony Woods Literary Agency in 2025 when she became full owner. She was named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2013 and won both the London Book Fair Trailblazer Award and the Young Stationers' Prize in 2016. Clients include Sunday Times and New York Times bestsellers, recent notable deals include a major six-figure pre-empt at W and N for Sarah Maria Griffin's novel, and Caroline O'Donoghue's The Rachel Incident is currently in screen adaptation. The agency does not request exclusive submissions but asks writers to flag if another agent is reading their full manuscript.
