What we found
Clare Conville founded C and W (originally Conville and Walsh) in 2000 and is now Chair, the Observer named her one of the top 50 players in the world of books. Her client list includes Matt Haig, Dolly Alderton, Esther Freud, Rachel Joyce, and Misha Glenny, with authors collectively nominated for nearly every major UK literary prize. In 2020 she co-founded the independent publishing imprint and production company CHEERIO in association with the Estate of Francis Bacon.
