- Email lownie@globalnet.co.uk with: a 1-page bullet-point mini-synopsis highlighting what makes the book new and special, including proposed word count and delivery date; a 1-page author biography covering qualifications to write the book; a 1-page overview of the five most recent competing and comparable titles with author, title, publisher, date, and a note on how each relates to your book; a 1-page list of sources used; a 1-page note on specialist marketing outlets; a half-page synopsis per chapter (around ten pages total); and a sample chapter. Do not send blanket submissions addressed to multiple agents.
